On 28.01.2012 at 10.00 the University Pavaresia started successfully with a remarkable official ceremony the second cycle studies of Masters Degree. In the Aula Magna of this University have been presented the structure and philosophy of this cycle of studies, and the academic staff, which consists of the most distinguished names of the country! The ceremony was conceived in a festive spirit and among the numerous guests standing out, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mrs. Nora Malaj, the Prefect of Vlora Region, Mr. Eduard Velcani, members of the Parliament of Albania from the District of Vlora, Mr. Kreshnik Cipi and Mr. Eltar Deda, other local authorities representing public or private entities, professors, students and friends of the University Pavaresia. At the opening it was introduced to the participants a detailed footage about the work done at the University Pavaresia during these years; and the Director of the Master Program, Prof. Dhimiter Doka, not only gave a detailed overview of the whole study offer, but also of the manner of implementation of these new courses. The most beautiful moments of this presentation were the remarks of the guests and in particular of Mrs. Nora Malaj, who stated that the Ministry of Education and the Albanian government will always be supporting the community values such as the University Pavaresia and study offers of this level. The activity was guided by the students Ajola Brahimaj and Ina Lelaj and held under the auspices of the President of the University Pavaresia, Mr. Ardian Zykaj. After the presentation ceremony and a cocktail for the participants, the event was immediately preceded by the Lectio Magistralis of Professor Adrian Civici, opening the lessons of these courses, and it was attended with great interest by students and by other participants.

December 1-2 of 2011, launches the third edition of MedCom 2011, Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Public Affairs, with the theme: “Intelligent Energy in the Euro-Med area. Communication strategies and relations management.” MedCom 2011 aims at analyzing the relationship between energy industry and the strategic management of its relations, triggering discussion and best practice sharing thanks to the participation of professionals and experts in Public relations and institutional Relations, as well as key figures of the leading energy groups and institutional bodies operating in the Euro -Med. Managerial decision making process inevitably influences and has direct and indirect effects on each of the stakeholders mentioned, therefore it is necessary to manage specific public relations and communication programs in order to carry out all relational duties and competences in the short, medium and long term. University Pavaresia is again for the third consecutive year the scientific partner of this important forum of the Mediterranean region, where the university’s Rector, Prof. Arta Musaraj will address issues related to Public relations, Public Trust and Renewable Energies in support of the Albanian Strategy for Renewable Energies.

With a Lectio Magistralis on the globalization issues at Aula Magna of Pavaresia University , the Ambassador of the Popular Republic of China in Albania Mr. Wang Junling addressed to a chosen auditorium with students, academic staff, local authorities and visiting experts as well. The global processes preceded and influenced by the social ones, the global economic crisis, a prespective of the future of the exchanges and fluxes of the business which affect our lives and our way of thinking was on the focus of the Amassador Junling. At the same time, important part of this lecture and following discussion was the role of universities as places that produce knowledge and simultaneously must be in the avant-garde social development processes, particularly referring to collaborations between Albanian and Chinese universities.
The Rector of University Pavaresia Prof. Arta Musaraj, at the opening speech of this event underlined the fact that the Lectio and Agenda at Pavaresia of Ambassador Junling, opens up a new phase for the University Pavaresia, which aims to overpass the borders of this university. It’s auditoriums are aiming to transform in the highest level forum of scientific debate aiming the culturisation, promotion and activation of social, economic and citizenship developments.
At the end of the ceremony, the Ambassador Junling was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the University Pavaresia Vlore.

The most worldwide prominent scientists, researchers and professionals in communication, gathered in Rome in one of the unique events both of the importance of the argument especially referring to the global economic crisis and with the participation of key figures who have marked the way of thinking for the society and the individual in the perspective of the communication sciences. Zygmunt Bauman, one of the brightest minds in the field of communication and social sciences, was in the center of the summit, who by interacting with the speakers brought to the audience a unique and fruitful experience. The concept of “liquid society”, its effects on the individual’s relation with himself and society, the communication developed as expressions of a model of social organization and the global economic crisis as a result of them constituted the backbone of this summit, which marked a meridian both in the light of theoretical analysis and featuring special emphasis on the establishment of science in the function of society. The Summit was hold on the participation of institutional and academic figures such as Zemor, President of the European Federation of Public Communication, Romano, Head of Crisis Unit of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Ambassadors, academicians etc. The Rector of Pavaresia University, Prof. Arta Musaraj, was the only participant in this summit from the Balkans as discussant in the pre-selected panel of outstanding international experts of the field.

It has been concluded successfully the 10-nth International Conference of the Business and Employment, organized by the Financial Institute of Kosovo in Pristina. This conference with the special support of the Kosovo government has transmitted the most advanced scientific thoughts and researches from all the Western Balkan region academic researchers, who have promote the most interesting and “hot” issues related to the economic and social field.
In October 6-th and 7-nth, four academic researches with authors form the academic staff of university Pavaresia, have draw the attention of about 80 professors and academic researchers from all over the Europe. These academic researches which promote the discussion with the conference auditorium, where as follows: South Western Balkan region and the Economic challenges: The pro-active human resources development as a key factor in structuring the regional economies , related by the Rector of University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj; The role of privatizing process in the economic, business and employment sector in Albania, related by the Economic Department Coordinator of the University Pavaresia, MSc. Veronika Durmishi; The role of the Unions in promoting the human resources through the social dialogue, as a function of the economic growth, related by the Law Department Coordinator of the university Pavaresia, MSc. Julejda Gerxhi. This academic event has been part of too many other academic relationships and cooperation with the Finance Institute of Kosovo, by confirming in this way another successful achievement of University Pavaresia academic staff in the field of the scientific research. The rector Prof. Arta Musaraj and the two Departments Coordinators of the University Pavaresia, Msc. Veronika Durmishi and MSc. Julejda Gerxhi have taken part in a special meeting with the Conference Chairman, Prof. Isak Mustafa, where they have discussed on the possibility of organizing the next Conference in University Pavaresia which coincides also with the event of the 100-th anniversary of the Independence of Albania country.

After the achievement of the excellent rate in the ranking process among all the Albanian universities, the university Pavaresia started up the new academic year, with a wide range of bachelor programs followed by 15 professional and scientific Master programs and a strong consolidation in qualitative and quantitative terms. In the same time, this moment meets with the finishing of the institutional accreditation process. But what makes special this new academic year, is the fact that this will be the year of having graduated the first bachelor program generation.
The new academic year started up event has been preceded by an official ceremony where with the participation of the highest local authorities, the Prefect of Vlora Region, Mr. Eduard Velcani, The Head of the Regional Directorate of Education, Mr. Zhyljen Papajorgji, ademic staff and students of University Pavaresia.

On 09.06.2011 at 11.00 in Aula Magna of University Pavaresia was held the inauguration ceremony of “Local Human Development Laboratory Vlore“, with the participation of United Nations Representative in Albania, Mrs. Zineb Benjelloun-Touimi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mrs. Nora Malaj and other local authorities, project ArtGold 2 – UNDP, in partnership with the University Pavaresia of Vlora.

University Pavaresia is selected as Academic Coordinator by UNDP (United NationsDevelopment Programme) beside that of University “Luigj Gurakuqi” of Shkodra, for establishing two laboratories of Human Resource Development in Albania under the coordination of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The pilot project, part of ArtGold 2 -UNDP project, aims to combine the experience of international institutions and that of national and local one, with the expertise and the accumulated knowledge of the universities, for the current and future human resources development under the Regional Strategic Planning. The success of this project involves University Pavaresia in trying to establish the International School of Human Resources and Human Resources International Dictionary. By this ceremony starts up one of the more ambitious initiatives not only for the partners involved, but also for the University Pavaresia in increasing its own levels of excellence.

On the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between University La Sapienza, Rome, Itali and University Pavaresia, two distinguished authorities of the Italian and European academic world, held at the Aula Magna of the University Pavaresia on June 17th 2011 at 10.30, two Lectio Magistralis for a wide audience of students, professors, representatives of public administrations and experts of the economic and social field.
The Lectio Magistralis with the topic “From the Albanian emigration to the integration in Italy” held by Prof. Maria Imaccolata Macioti and the Lectio Magistralis with the topic “The emigrants in market labor in Italy”, held by Prof. Enrico Pugliese, represented a unique chance to start and develop those debates in the academic as well as social point of view helping in the evaluation and re-assessment of the academic capacities and qualitative standards of the University Pavaresia.
The University Pavaresia rewarded the two distinguished academic authorities with a Certficate of Merit for their contribute in the academic and scientific development of this university.
At the same time, this event activated the agreement between the two universities by opening the way to a wider exchange provided by this agreement. Prof. Musaraj accompanied the professors of La Sapienza at the Archeological Park of Orikum and explained to the audience of the prestigious network ABC News the aim of their visit in the following interview.

On 22.06.2011, after a 4 months involving activity, the students of the second year of Economy, introduced the application of a simulation technique in Organizational Communication.
Divided in three teams students had to a real organizational communication campaign by using concepts, theories and techniques acquired in the subject of Communication in Business and Administrations. Emerged in the case of a simulated company having its history, market, dialectics facing a big dilemma caused by the company relocation toward a less developed location, students played actively their roles while aiming to convince as much as possible of the actual members of this organization to move in the new location. The techniques has been applied in full dynamics since to simulate the workers of the company were involved the students of the second year of Political Sciences and the students of the first year of Economy course. They were the audience as well as by playing the role of actual members of this company they were the jury to vote which one from the teams was the most convincing one to make them move in the new location. Team A having members Elena Andrea, Eva Memaj, Eno Dema, Blerina Malaj, Marjola Memaj; Team B having members Albano Sherifaj, Klaudja Ngucaj, Valbona Zike, Ermira Cenaj, Team C having members Miranda Godo, Blerina Dervishaj dhe Rozana Pashaj, through a interesting show testified for the high quality academic standards achieved at University Pavaresia as well as the personal and professional achievements of these students in this institution. The event finalized with an interesting debate and the voting process by which the audience claimed as winner by having the biggest number of workers moved in the new location Team B with members Albano Sherifaj, Klaudja Ngucaj, Valbona Zike, Ermira Cenaj.

On May of 13 th, 2011 the Rector Prof. Arta Musaraj conducted the Workshop on the topic “Organizational Behavior and the Communication in organizations” organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Philosophy, the University of Vienna, Austria. Prof. Musaraj who was invited by the Program of Cooperation among European Universities, held an open lecture to the PhD student of different faculties and Master students’ of second level degree in Science of Education field, on the topic “Cognitive bases in organizational behavior”. This important didactic agenda signed the beginning of an future institutional collaboration with the University of Vienna which is expected to have a direct positive impact on the scientific research and on the academic quality level.

By a special invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and the Presidency of ANSA, the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj, will represent Albania in the International Conference: “The Network in the Mediterranean, Challenges of the Future”, at 27.01.2011, Rome, Italy.
The conference, one of the most important ever organized in a Mediterranean level, gathers most distinguished authorities, representatives and experts of the Mediterranean countries, aiming the reinforcement, improvement and interaction for the efficient use of resources that Mediterranean as a political, cultural and geographical notion offers.
Communication and tourism as supporter of the regional economic development, will be the panel where to discuss and introduce the touristic potential of Albania as a touristic destination. Strategies and communications developed over time under a Mediterranean Prospective and the needs to network Mediterranean countries, aiming the performance improvement of the touristic sector as a leverage of economic development, will be the main arguments of the presentation of Albania by Prof. Arta Musaraj at this conference.

Yesterday on 07-06-2011, in the Aula Magna of the University “Pavaresia” Vlora, the Department of Informatics Engineering organized the activity “Era of the evolution of Information Technology”, where the speakers were the students from both first and second year of this department.
In their work they stressed: the importance of computers and information technology’s role in shaping the human society, our need for accuracy and ‘Information Revolution’.
The activity was held with a large participation of students, professors, and invited guests under the auspices of the Rector Musaraj and the President Zykaj.
The activity also reached a regional and national impact on the media, conveying a positive experience of civic forums, initiated from such positive experiences.

The Municipality of Vlora awards the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj as “Most Outstanding Personality of Vlora for 2010”.
In a Gala Evening held at the “Petro Marko” theatre on 29.12.2010, the Municipality of Vlora prized the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj with the title: as “Most Outstanding Personality of Vlora for 2010”.
Through a long voting process involving all the community of Vlora, Prof. Arta Musaraj showed to be as one of the most prominent personalities for her contribution and values for the developments in the region of Vlora while leading the University Pavaresia.
Among the enthusiasm of the participants and especially of collaborators, staff and students of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Musaraj received her prize expressing her gratitude for all the community of Vlora city, stating that:
“Vlora is big, Vlora has space for all, Vlora needs the protagonism of everyone. Because Vlora is a testament: To leave to them coming after us, a much better Vlora than what we received.”

Today, 16th of April 2010, the Rector of Pavaresia University Vlora, Prof. Arta Musaraj welcomed Mr. Hill Denham, the Peace Corps Director for Albania. He was accompanied by Mr. Christopher Chaulk, the President of the Project “Outdoor Ambassadors”, and by Mrs. Molly Golden, Project Coordinator of “Green Up Albania” for Albania.
Mr. Hill Denham informed the Rector Prof. Arta Musaraj about their mission and about what Peace Corps present today and he expressed his willingness for collaboration with Pavaresia University of Vlora also in the future in projects with great values for helping the community.
The Rector, Prof. Arta Musaraj expressed her gratitude to the volunteers of Peace Corps for their commitment in the academic process at the University, and expressed her conviction that this collaboration which started with the introduction of Green Up Albania project at Pavaresia University, will be a history of success.
The American guests accompanied by the Rector Musaraj together with the President of University, Mr. Ardian Zykaj, visited the campus of the University where they discussed with the students of Pavaresia University.

The MoU was signed between the Municipality of Vlore and the Pavaresia University, with the support of the General Consulate of Italy in Vlore, for the development of a very important research project focused on the historical center of Vlora, aims the preservation and restoring of the architectural buildings of the beginning of the 20th century.
The result of this multi-year project, whose road was opened by the signing of the MoU by Mr. Shpetim Gjika Mayor of Vlore and the Rector Prof. Musaraj , under the auspices of the Consul of Italy in Vlore, Dott. Sergio Strozzi, could represent the base of an historical town center restoration plan, to be prepared by national and international institutions and partners. The project was preceded by a survey laboratory developed during the events season “Two peoples, one sea, one friendship” due to the collaboration between the General Consulate of Italy in Vlore, Pavaresia University and the Municipality of Vlore. The survey, leaded by the Ark. Simone Mazzetto, Coordinator of the Architecture Department of University
Pavaresia, was the focused on buildings which were built under the Italian style influence of the first decades of XX Century and in many cases by Italian architects, companies and with Italian technologies or manufactured products. The architectural survey is the first step for any kind of restoration project, as it indicates the way to be followed. The purpose of this project is double: The first is to give the students the possibility of directly and deeply experiencing the internal part of a building and its architectural items (walls, floor, staircase, roof, windows, etc.). According to the history and theory of architecture, drawing and measuring is the basic exercise for every architect, who can therefore know the buildings, and eventually learn the history of architecture of his town. This experience also enhances the team-working skills of students and their project management capability. The second aim is to collect, archive and process any information and elements regarding the history of Vlore, to stimulate public opinion and institution considerations as far as their history, origin and identity are concerned. Development does not mean forgetting the past, nor does it mean deleting memories of our ancestors. Moreover, the “tourist vocation” of Vlore can be improved and strengthened by means of an attractive and lively historical town center.

Yesterday on 09-02-2011, in the Aula Magna of the University “Pavaresia” Vlora, the Department of Political Sciences in cooperation with the Law Department of the university, organized the activity “Revenge, why and until when?”, where the speakers were the students from both departments. In their work they stressed the need of the Albanian society to be treated itself from such a painful wound, that keeps us away from European standards and institutional achievements, a phenomena that obviously the other European countries have exceeded long ago.
The activity was held with a large participation of students, professors, and invited guests under the auspices of the Rector Musaraj and the President Zykaj. The activity also reached a regional and national impact on the media, conveying a positive experience of civic forums, initiated from such positive experiences.

ANSA, the Italian News Agency, the fourth biggest agency of the world after the AP, Reuters and AFP, on 27.01.2011, organized in Rome at the Vatican’s Gregorian University, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Conference “Mediterranean on the net, the challenge of the future”. This conference, the most important organized so far on the Mediterranean level, brought the most distinguished authorities, representatives and experts of the region’s, who discussed on the net, communication and interaction between the Mediterranean countries, aiming at strengthening, and improving the effective use of the resources that offers the Mediterranean area as a geographical, cultural and political notion. “Communication and tourism” in the context of regional economic development, was the most important panel, which reflect the potential of Albania as a touristic destination. Strategies of Development in a Mediterranean perspective and the need for a net connection of the Mediterranean countries in the optic of optimizing performances in the touristic sector as a lever of economic development were the main arguments of the presentation of Prof. Arta Musaraj, Rector of the University Pavaresia Vlore. November 19-20 of 2010, launched the second edition of MedCom 2010, Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Public Affairs, with the theme: “Local Systems in the Euro-Mediterranean space. Competition or Cooperation? The role of Public Affairs.”
The event was held at Catania’s University in collaboration with the Region of Catania’s.
2010 MedCom object was to exchange experiences and knowledge between public rapporteurs on local operation systems which belong to the Mediterranean area.
There participated key personalities of the institutional world and entrepreneurship, who directly contribute in making functional and productive the systems in which they operate. Significant evidence came up, which made possible the understanding of complex scenarios that represented local systems belonging to different countries under the logic of cooperation between the territories.
University Pavaresia is again for the second consecutive year the scientific partner of this important forum of the Mediterranean region, where the university’s Rector, Prof. Arta Musaraj addressed the interoperability of local systems and human capacity development issues at local level. Also, she participated in a special panel focused on the application of the Stockholm Agreements in Euro Mediterranean area.

University Pavaresia marked another milestone as an indicator of the staff advancement level in their respective scientific research fields.
A Special Session organized by University Pavaresia Vlore on the topic: “EU and Challenges of the Economic and Legal Development in South West Balkan”, part of EBES Conference in Athens, with an extraordinary scientific level and the participation of researchers from 250 different countries and world’s most important universities, featured not only a significant level of scientific achievement, but also arouse an interest by the participants and the researchers of different fields to the topics and their regional impact.
In the Session organized and chaired by the Rector of University Prof. Arta Musaraj, the members of academic staff of University Pavaresia as follows: MA. Veronika Durmishi, MA. Sonila Berdo, MA. Klajdi Mone and Irena Skendo, presented their papers and research findings, followed then by a special presentation of Prof. Ylber Sela from University of Tetovo.
This session arouse a special interest and produced its impact, as an accumulation and reflection of scientific research adapted to the special social and economic context such as that of the South West Balkan region, by strengthening the idea of the qualitative impacts that the research and academic activities have.

On 23rd of July, at the Aula Magna of the University Pavaresia has been holded the Closing Ceremony of the Academic year 2009-2010.
In this event took part the Consul of the General Consulate of Italy in Vlore, Dott. Sergio Strozzi, the Deputies of the Albanian Parliament Toci, Dedaj, Bare, the Deputy Major of Vlora City, Banushaj, the Directors of the Office of Urbanistics and Projecting at the Municipality of Vlora Zoto and Hudhra, authorities of the local government and friends of the University Pavaresia.
During this event, was introduced the work in progress of a survey laboratory developed during the events season “Two peoples, one sea, one friendship” due to the collaboration between the General Consulate of Italy in Vlore, Pavaresia University and the Municipality of Vlore. He also consigned to the authorities of the University Pavaresia the publishing of the Italian Embassy for this events season in which the University Pavaresia was partner in a lot of them, expressing his belief that this excellent collaboration will continue in the futture.
At the end, to all participants was distributed the last publishing of the University Pavaresia, it’s , Annual 2009-2010 named “1 Future Now”

“The Movie Hour” is the last event organized by the Department of Political Science of the University “Pavaresia” Vlora, which as “the laboratory that creates the future” aims to transmute this institution into an open youth, civic and cultural forum, with the conversion of Aula Magna into a cinema theater. Every Saturday afternoon, the projection of each film, selected from a wide range of issues, hopefully besides entertainment and training, will be the starting point of a civic debate which will accompany them. This will be only the beginning of a long season of cultural events, which in addition to the projection of about 20 films during 20 consecutive weeks for the staff and the students of the university and also for all friends of “Pavaresia”. It will be filled with a wide range of cultural initiatives named “Pavaresia Club”. The next surprise will be a theatrical play realized by the students of the university.

The College of Economy and Social Sciences at the University Pavaresia Vlore in collaboration with the College of Sciences of Communication at the University La Sapienza, Rome, Italy, are developing a Specific Agreement and action plan aiming the scientific research and mutual academic exchanges.
After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Rector of the University La Sapienza, Rome, Italy, the biggest university in Europe, Prof. Luigi Frati and the Rector of the University Pavaresia Vlore, Prof. Arta Musaraj, following up the main purpose and fields of collaboration of this agreement, the wide and intensive collaboration among the two institutions will lead to a higher level of excellence and to a tangible impact on the Mediterranean Development.

Saturday 5th 2011, students of the second year in Informatics Engineering of the University Pavaresia, on the initiative and leadership of their lecturer, Alban Xhafa (PhD), made a study visit at the Albanian Radio Television Studios.
With well defined study objectives, mainly under the frame of the subject Signals Theory, they observed deeply and directly much of the theoretical aspects of their studies, increasing thou their knowledge’s as well as their motivation to proceed in the professional carrier they have already chosen.
Part of these observations was Studio no 1, where they observed the production of the digital and analog video and voice signal, equipments used to develop the processes explained during their classes as modeling, sampling, coding of the signal etc. This is the studio where broadcasting of mid day are being produced. Studio no 2 which is considered as a super direction from which all programs of TVSh are being produced, has been object of an accurate observation by the students, right there where the video signal is being produced by the camera, is connected to the mixers adding other graphic effects over this signal going to broadcast.
An important study was developed at the Studio no 3 which develops the morning programs and satellite broadcast, servers room, control equipments etc.
The detailed explanations of operation of those equipments by professionals of the highest levels of this institution gave accented notes of professionalism to the information and observations developed by our students, incenting motivation and reinforcing conviction on the professional choice of the students.

Friday, April 30th at 18.30 at the Aula Magna of the University Pavaresia, took place the awards ceremony of the National Photography Competition, organized by the General Consulate of Italy in Vlora in collaboration with Forma-Milano (The International Center of Photography, Corriere della Sera Foundation) on the frame of the long Events Season Italy-Albania 2010 “Two Nation, One Sea, One Friendship”.
The Jury with the participation of Mr. Denis Curti, Director of FORMA, International Center of Photography in Milan, Italy, Foundation of the biggest Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, which for many times promote culture and photographic research in an international level, at the same time professor at the University Bocconi, Milan, Mr. Albes Fusha, professor at the Arts Academy of Tirana and Arch. Simone Mazzetto, Head of the Department of Architecture at the University Pavaresia Vlore, claimed the winner of the contest who at the same time won an internship at the Master of Photography organized by FORMA, Milan, Italy.
Apart from the particular interest showed by the media, at the ceremony took part the General Secretary of the Prefecture Vlore, Mr. Fiqiri Aliaj, Mr. Kreshnik Cipi, Deputy of the Albanian Parliament, Mr. Ilir Banushi, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality Vlore, etc.
Arch. Mazzetto, Head of the Department of Architecture, in the opening speech of this ceremony, indicated in particular the strong connection between events like this and universities, in particular case with the University Pavaresia, Vlore, as laboratories which cultivate research, culture and civilization.
The Consul of the General Consulate of Italy in Vlora, Dott. Sergio Strozzi, appreciated the strong support the University Pavaresia gives to initiatives like this aiming to reinforce cultural exchanges and future mutual project.
The exhibition which will stay opened to the public up to Monday, 10th May (from 9:00 until 16:00) has the theme “Harmonies, dissonances and contradictions in architecture and landscape of Albania in the new millennium. What’s the view towards future and what’s the memory from the past” has contributed not only to stimulate the creativity of some young talented Albanians, but also provided through the medium of photography a comprehension and research of the current state and most of all the sensitivity of youth to the themes of landscape and Albanian cities.
The same exhibition will be hosted in October at the sites of Forma, Milano, giving visibility to young Albanian talents. Meantime, an exhibition of the Workshop held in March from 22nd to 26th, in the frame of the Master in Photography and Visual Design, which was inaugurated in Milan these last days, will land at the University Pavaresia as well.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding from the respective Rectors of the SEE University, Prof. Abazi, and University Pavaresia Vlore, Prof. Musaraj, and the decreeing form the respective Senates, opened the road to Specific Agreements and action plans on the coordination of Colleges and Departments, on the frame of the collaborations field included in the MoU.
The University Pavaresia is the first and only private institution of the Higher Education in Albania, beside the University of Tirana (state university), to have an official partnership with SEEU, certifying once again for the values and expectancies attributed to the University Pavaresia, due to its academic and research activity.

Hundreds of students, at 09:00 am of 18-th October 2010, filled the auditorium of University Pavaresia for the beginning of the new academic year. This academic year aims to provide them with new knowledge and challenges in their scientific education process.
At Aula Magna, in the presence of all the students, the academic staff and guests of honor who represented local and central government, as Mr. Hasan Halili, Prefect of Vlora district; Z. Shpetim Gjika, Mayor of Vlore, as well as representatives from the Vlore Education Department and other personalities, was held a welcoming speech of the Rector of University Pavaresia Prof. Arta Musaraj.
In this event, Prof. Musaraj and the president of university Mr. Ardian Zykaj, presented to all the participants and to the media the first edition of the international scientific review “Academicus”, which is directed by an international editorial board. This review is considered as a successful achievement in the international and national level.
With the best wishes for a successful year for the students and academic staff, the rector Prof. Musaraj invited them to proceed with planned educational activities in all the respective branches and study courses.

The students of Architecture at the University Pavaresia once again proactive in their academic experiences.
November 27th 2010 was a very important day for the students of both years of this branch. They held a didactic expedition in the city of Berat on the frame of the didactic program in the subject Story of Architecture, under the guide of their talented lecturer, Eluerta Mehmetaj.
Berat has been chosen as a city holding a great number of historic and architectural objects.
Students visited and made their observations important sites and this helped them in creating their own opinion regarding important objects which embody Albanian historical and architectural heritage.
Among them worths mentioning Berat’s Castle, Onufri Museum, Onufri Church, Ethnographic Museum, Gorica’s Bridge, Bachelor’s Mosque, Red Mosque making possible generalizations over Albanian fortification, cult objects, traditional buildings, engineered buildings, urbanity development etc.
This expedition which is the first of this kind evidences the quality of the academic and research activity of the University Pavaresia. The results of all their observations will be published in a special publication of the university.

The Consul of Italy in Vlore Dr. Sergio Strozzi, visited today 30 April 2010, the University Pavaresia Vlore.
He was accompanied by Mr. Denis Curti, General Director of Forma-Milano(Italy), International Center of Photography, Foundation of the biggest and the well-known Italian paper Corriere della Sera, that from several years promotes the culture and the photographic research internationally.
The Rector of the University Pavaresia Prof. Musaraj warmly received the Italian friends, who are already leading the jury of the photography contest, that the General Consulate of Italy in Vlore organizes at the University Pavaresia on the frame of the extraordinary initiative “Two Nation, One Sea, One Friendship” part of the long Events Season Italy-Albania 2010-2011, in which the University Pavaresia is a partner.
The Rector Musaraj thanked the Consul of Italy for the initiatives that the General Consulate of Italy in Vlora organizes in partnership with the University Pavaresia and remarked on the motivation and the hearty welcome that the University Pavaresia has for these collaborations, which simultaneously serve as a bridge to cultural and social exchanges between the two nations cultivating a culture of cooperation, that serves as a base for the scientific and academic activities with the partner universities in the front coast of the Adriatic.

On the frame of the scientific collaboration and research in Information Technology, the Directory of Scientific Research near the College of Information Technology at the Polytechnic University of Tirana in partnership with the Department of Informatics Engineering at the University Pavaresia Vlore, on 23rd of April 2010, at the Aula Magna of this university, held a Workshop with two sessions on the frame of FP7 financed by European Community.
Those present were the Deputy of Vlora Region Mr. Ardian Kollozi and Mr. Kreshnik Cipi who is member of Education Commission at the Albanian Parliament. During the presentations were explained the objectives of FP7, the rules and the ways of participation at it. As special it was mentioned the collaboration of this project with other projects of FP7 WINS-ICT, IDEALIST and SEERA-EI.
At the first session, were treated issues that has to do with the problem of application and participation as well as the development of the project ICT-WEB-PROMS at the field of the application at Information Technology.
The ICT-WEB-PROMS project aims to train specialist of information technology about participating at the projects of FP7 as well as in making a dialogue at a specialist level and a politic-doer for creating the conditions for participation growth at FP7 from nations of West Balkans.
At the afternoon session the focus was on the Grid Technologies, what they represent and what advantages do they offer, which are their application fields, offering a guide to users and IT specialists.
The SEE-GRID-SCI project is the third at the project series on “grid” technology of Southeast European region supported by European Commission. The “grid” technology makes it possible the collaboration between computers which are connected at a net to function like a “super-computer”. Examples were treated about the environment field, as well as the direction of future work for developing the pan-European grid infrastructure and using high capacity computers from the regional research community.
This Workshop was leaded by a panel of well known experts like Prof. Neki Frasheri, Head of the Scientific Research Office and Dr. Ermelinda Kajo (PhD), Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies at the Polytechnic University of Tirana. This Workshop aims increasing human resource capacities in South East Balkan to fully participate in the European ICT research and in the European Research Area by creating and supporting strategic partnerships of interested pairs of EU and WBS-s through assuring the accesses at corresponding knowledge.
At the welcoming remark the Rector of Pavaresia University, Prof. Arta Musaraj, opening the season of the scientific research activities at Pavaresia University, which is the first activity at the campus of this University in Vlora, after the conferences held at Catania, Italy, and Istanbul, Turkey, in which the Pavaresia University was cooperator and valuating the excellent co-operation with Polytechnic University of Tirana, announced the calendar of science activities of this university which will be crowned next year with the Scientific Conference for European Economic Developments, organized from the Economic Euro-Asia Forum, maybe the biggest one organized in Albania in academic level.
A very wide audience with representatives of pedagogic staff of high schools of Vlora city, but also operator of Information Technology, on the side of the students of the university, and with an extraordinary interest of the national visional and written media, showed the importance of the seminar, about what the actual developments at the Informatics Engineering present today.

By a special invitation of the Rector Prof. Musaraj, today at the University Pavaresia, Vlore, arrived Dott. Diego Minuti Editor in Chief of ANSA, the biggest Italian press agency, and also Director of ANSAMED.
In the framework of his important agenda, today Dott. Minute accompanied by the Rector of the University Pavaresia Prof.Musaraj was received by Mr. Genc Pollo, Minister for Innovation and for Information and Communication Technology and Mrs. Suzana Turku, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports.
The Consul of Italy in Vlora, Dott. Strozzi, the Mayor of Vlora Mr. Gjika and the Prefect of Vlora, Mr. Halili, will receive officially tomorrow Dott. Minuti accompanied by the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj.
Rector Musaraj during these meetings made a full panorama of work, activities and research agreements in which University Pavaresia, Vlore is engaged. Also Prof. Musaraj focused the attention on the academic values that the Lectio Magistralis held by Dott. The Special International Award received by Arch. Arben Meksi, lecturer at the University Pavaresia, gathered at the Aula Magna of this University numerous art and culture seeker of Vlora City.
A well compounded panel, with the participation of Mr. Bujar Kapexhiu, well known artist and distinguished Cartoon Designer, Mr. Agron Dine, distinguished painter and Director of the High School of Arts at Vlora City, the professor of architecture Agron Jano, former Head of the National Association of Architects, in the presence of the highest local authorities, Vlora City Mayor, Mr. Shpetim Gjika, The Deputies of the Albanian Parliament, Mr. Ardian Kollozi and Mr. Eltar Deda, The Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the same time Vice-Mayor of Vlora City, Mr. Edmond Leka, gave start at a particular promotion of this prize.
The introduction of the cartoon designs by Arch. Meksi and the opinion expressed by experts, opened up a real scientific debate regarding the artistic values that cartoon design has for the country, on the cultural point of view as well as in the social point of view, considering the cartoon design as a mean of expression which naturally gathers and harmonizes the hole society, beside differences and diversities.

The students of Political Sciences course, through an excellent application of the “role playing” and “mechanism of experiencing”, both intensive and effective didactic tools in knowledge production, brought an improvisation of an electoral campaign, developed as a TV show for the pleasure of guests, colleagues and their pedagogues.
The reasons for this application was to make a practical and real demonstration of the acquired theoretical elements of political communication during this academic year were in a.
In addition, this Activity contributes to fulfill the didactic objectives as well as served as a strong motivation for all the participating students to explore and to be included in the latest achievements of learning.
The Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj, appreciated the activity as an example of how this university always stays in the first line of the educational methods, becoming a successful model of higher education institutions in the third millennium.
Siri Hoxha, lecturer of “Mass Communication”, Political Science Department led to this application by highlighting the importance of its teaching encouraging all the University students to be involved in such initiatives, as a sign of their efforts to increase the quality of their studies.
The applied technique continued with the presentation of the students work as an electoral debate between two candidates where all students had their roles, for which they received the best appreciation.

The students of the University Pavaresia, under the special attention of President Mr Ardian Zykaj and the Rector, Prof. Arta Musaraj, on the occasion of finishing the academic year 2009-2010, organized a cultural activity with the slogan:

This cultural activity focused on the visit in the archeological site of Butrint, Sarande.
This cultural tour contribute for a deeper knowledge of the Albanian history and culture, identifying its consolidation in antiquity, while helping also in strengthening the necessary national identity, particularly for the university students, who are in the center of the waves of integration processes, and in need of more orientation in introducing their offer and are seeking for an open mind.

Albanian Helsinki Committee on 24.05.2010, held in Aula Magna of University Pavaresia a special workshop on the European Right. Human rights sanctioned by the Constitutions and laws of countries, supported and protected by international conventions and the civil society recognition and awareness about them, were the essence of the workshop developed. Head of the Albanian Helsinki Committee, Mrs. Vjollca Meçaj in her lecture, did focus especially in the basic rights expressed and protected by the Strasbourg Convention and she goes in depth of the family right and that of privacy, as two elements which currently in Albania need more information and awareness about the role and importance in all the society links’, especially in those of decision-making.
Head of the Albanian Helsinki Committee Mrs. Vjollca Meçaj was received by the Rector of University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj. They discussed the role of universities as vital civil society actors, cradles the cultivation of academic thinking and social responsibility. Auditors of University Pavaresia will welcome in the future such scientific issues in the field of law, not only as part of academic debate that takes place naturally and consistently within it, but also as a authentic responsible leading institution it is, regarding the public and civic opinion building process in the region.

This was the subject which brought together the Universal Peace Federation’s (UPF) specialists, the academic staff and the students of University Pavaresia, Ambassadors for Peace, academic, culture and local government leaders at the conference hall “Aula Magna” of the University Pavaresia Vlora on the 17th of May at 10:00.
This activity was honored by the presence of Mr. Tim Miller, Vice-President of UPF Europe, who was welcomed by the Rector of University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj, whom he informed about the role, mission and activities of UPF. He was accompanied by Mr. Ali Lacej (Chairman of UPF Albania) and Mr. Sokol rexhepi (Secretary General of UPF Albania).
The Prof. Arta Musaraj and the President Ardian Zykaj accompanied the UPF guests during the visit at the university and informed them about what University Pavaresia presents today for the Albanian collegiate education, especially in South Albania.
At the symposium which had a large audience and great interests from the media, at the presence of local authorities, Mr. Miller referred about the topic “Foundation and characteristics of a good leader” while Mr. Lacej talked about “What is good governance”.

With the agreeable title “Fire and Air – From revolution to fashion”, the evening conceived as a revival of the ’70s and ’80s, will be accompanied from the performances of the several guest groups invited for this occasion from both Adriatic sea shores.
On the frame of the long Events Season Italy-Albania 2010 “Two Nation, One Sea, One Friendship”, this will be not only a social event but also an evening of exchanging cultural points of view between our two countries.

It’s pretty particular the initiative of the University Pavaresia in collaboration with the prestigious Publishing House “Toena”, on the occasion of the World Book and Copyright Day.
On Tuesday, 20 of April, at 9:30 at the Aula Magna of the University Pavaresia, the well-known publisher and Deputy at the Parliament of Albania, Mr. Fatmir Toci, leaded an open discussion with students, lecturers and staff, writers and culture seeker of Vlora concerning the development of the printed books and publishing in the last 20 years in Albania, in general. Mr. Toci was accompanied by Mr Edmond Leka, Deputy Mayor of the Vlora Municipality, Mr. Clirim Hoxha, Director of the Library “Shefqet Musaraj” and Mrs. Irena Toci, Administrator of the Publishing House “Toena”.
This was more than a mere academic discussion, with a selected audience, that brought to the attention and sensibility of the book lovers, the problems, the effects but also the trends of Albanian publishings and the relationship with readers.
The Rector of the University Pavaresia Prof. Arta Musaraj, during her speech thanked Mr. Toci and the Publishing House “Toena” for the showed readiness in publishing, for this academic year, all the academic publications such as the Academic Review with an international board “Academicus” and the Annual of the University Pavaresia.
Mr. Toci appreciated the initiative of the University Pavaresia, especially of the Architecture Department of this University, that in collaboration with the Municipality and General Consulate of Italy in Vlora will manage the rilevation of an architectural ensemble of the city of Vlora and made possible the publication from “Toena” of the summary with the results of the drawings and documents of the architecture students, publication that will be presented at the biennial of the student works in Venezia, Italy.
The guests accompanied by the Rector, Prof. Musaraj, together with the President of University, Mr. Ardian Zykaj, visited the campus of the University.
On this occasion, the Publishing House “Toena” will donate a consistent series of books, selected carefully from their catalogue.

On Friday 16 April 2010 at 10:00 am, at the Aula Magna of University Pavaresia, the project “Green Up Albania” of Outdoor Ambassadors, the American Excursion project organized the discussion with the topic “We and the Environment” with the participation of Vlora’s High Schools maturity students.
With the participation of over 400 high schools maturity students of public and private schools of Vlora city, in the Conference Hall of the University, with an extraordinary interest of the national media and press, took place a discussion about the environment issues leaded by a distinguished panel of the Peace Corps and the Outdoor Ambassadors, composed by Mr. Hill Denham, director of Peace Corps Albania, Mr. Christopher Chaulk, President of “Outdoor Ambassadors” Project and Mrs. Molly Golden, Project Coordinator for “Green Up Albania”, focused on environmental protection, awareness and volunteerism.
In this activity did take part the Prefect of Vlore Mr. Hasan Halili, representatives of Vlore District Education Department, and directors of public and private high schools of Vlora city.
Prof. Musaraj, Rector of University Pavaresia, while opening this activity and introducing “Green Up Albania” project, congratulated and wished this initiative to be the beginning of a new culture and civilization and also she stressed the fact that the university Pavaresia will be an active factor in such initiatives.
Prefect of Vlore Mr. Halili, appreciated the contribution of Peace Corps volunteers and the initiative of University Pavaresia which became the Green Up Albania “Home” for this activity by stressing the importance of such projects not only to increase community awareness.
University Pavaresia, today opened for more than 400 high schools graduated students its auditoriums, by transforming this Environment Day, in a real students’ celebration and points of view exchanges between those who study actually and those who aspire to attend this university in the future.

“Two Nation, One Sea, One Friendship” with a series of events, will be outstanding represented by a unique activity, initiative of the General Consul of Italy in Vlora, Dott. Sergio Strozzi and of the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj.
By a work taking months, handled by the students of the course of architecture, under the guidance of the Coordinator of the Department of Architecture, Dott. Ark. Simone Mazzetto, will be realized the pad of carefully selected constructions in Vlora city, representing the Italian architecture in the city.
The pad laboratory of the Italian style buildings aims setting up a plan of recuperation and maintenance of those buildings, which is a upgraded phase of this project.
The University Pavaresia this way enhance its level of being an elite university and makes a remarkable step toward its transformation in a research university.

Rectors Abazi and Musaraj, with their mutual visits at the respective universities, gave a new dimension to bilateral relations between the this two Balkan countries, by demonstrating in this way, the importance of regional cooperation for countries at an academic- research university level.
Prof. Arta Musaraj, Rector of the University Pavaresia, appreciated the invitation of Prof. Alajdin Abazi to a interdepartmental working group of University Pavaresia, that in the following days, together with their colleagues from Macedonia, will detail in Tetovo, in what will consist in the following academic years, the cooperation between two universities, giving priority to the exchange of academic staff, mutual student experiences in auditoriums, joint research initiatives and publishing the results of these reciprocal research, as well as organizing joint scientific conferences, becoming a bright reality in what represents today the collaboration of Albanian speaking language universities. Rector Arta Musaraj, stressed the fact that the cooperation between universities in Albanian areas speaking, is having a new dimension, in the framework of the Bologna Process.
President of the University Pavaresia, Mr. Ardian Zykaj, appreciated the role of South East European University of Macedonia in the Balkan universities level, calling it obviously a model of success.
Rector, Academician Prof. Abazi presented to the university Pavaresia staff, the SEE University and its grand project of Shkup Campus, which makes it one of the most important universities in the Balkans not only in the geographical extent, but also in quality terms. After that, he referred an Open Lecture with the theme “Bologna Process and Trends of Higher Education in the Southwestern Balkans“ before an audience composed not only by students, but also by Vlora intellectuals in the Aula Magna room of University.
An extraordinary interest of media accompanied the visit of academician Abazi to University Pavaresia. Visual and print media focused this activity not only for the fact that Prof. Abazi is rector of one of the most important universities in Macedonia, but also for the fact that it represents one of two Albanian academicians who are involved in the group which will write the new Encyclopedia of Macedonia Republic.
Besides transmitting the visit of Prof. Abazi, the local TV’s of Vlora such as Vlora Channel, TV Amantia, Vlora 6 +1 TV, had an exclusive interview of him and Tv Vlora Channel transmitted completely his open lecture in University Pavaresia.

Today the Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof. Arta Musaraj, welcomed the well-known Italian activist in Equal Opportunity, Ph.D. Valeria Ajovalasit. The President of “Arcidonna Itali”, Valeria Ajovalasit, sociologist, academic of the mainstreaming theory, anthropologist and founder of the publishing house “La luna”, the only “publisher lady” in Italy, was accompanied by Prof.Maria Antonetta Selvaggio, Universitety of Salernos, Italy and the Albanian writer, ex deputy Mrs. Diana Culi, actually Executive Director of the “Independent Forum of Albanian Women”.
Collaboration in the field of scientific research, in academic publishing, the involvement of mutual projects in service of the community and the organization of scientific conferences were the focal points of the meeting.
The publishing house “La luna” donated a collection of its publications to the Library of University Pavaresia.
Together with the Italian personalities, the Rector Prof. Arta Musaraj participated in the debate panel which was organized at “Petro Marko” Theater in Vlora, “Mediterraneo delle Donne” under the auspices of the Italian General Consulate. The Italian Consul in Vlore, Dott. Sergio Strozzi directed the event. Arch. Simone Mazzetto, coordinator of the Architecture Department of the University Pavaresia Vlore, developed a most unique stage for the event.

University Pavaresia consolidates its map of International Partnerships with the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy. The Senate of the Polytechnic University of Marche with the ratification of the date 6.10.2009 of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities, opens the door to a wider cooperation in the framework of intensive academic and scientific research. University Pavaresia and Polytechnic University of Marche,by singing this agreement, built up a sustainable bridge of staff exchanges and students as well, with the aim of integrating the academic standards and titles of study and at the same time are presented in the region as laboratories and expertise sources to launch the economic, political and social developments, that would characterize it.

Today, at Aula Magna of University “Pavaresia”, on the frame of the initiative of “Contemporaneous Art in Vlora City”, started and incented by “Promenad” Gallery of the well-known Artist from Vlora, Artan Shabani, and on the special attention of the Italian Consulate in Vlora and it’s Council, Dott. Sergio Strozzi, two Italian Artists Alessandro Mancassola and Barbara Ceriani Basilico , lecturer at the Art Academy of Brera, in Milan, Italy, introduced their Video projects called “Shark Tale” and “Roy Lee”.
These new and particular artistic works for the Art Community of Vlora city, were welcomed by a large public who followed with a special attention these Video projects, The authors gave professional explanation regarding the efforts for their realization.
Students of the Architecture course and those from other courses of University “Pavaresia” as well, were informed about the new forms of Art and in particular, on the Evolution of the Modern Art in general and its influence over the actual social development.
A very interesting debate about the contemporaneous art in general and about the particularities of those works, focusing on the large incomings of this field in the latest years, signed the end of this event.
The Rector of University “Pavaresia” Prof. As. Dr. Arta Musaraj, expressing her appreciation on those works, stressed on the efforts of University “Pavaresia”, to become a very important Education Institution, and at the same time, a very important Socio-Cultural factor in the region and abroad. On this occurrence, she consigned to the two artists, Mancassola and Ceriani Basilico, a Merit Certificate.
Their works, are exposed at the “Promenad” Gallery, Vlore.

On Friday, 16 April 2010, at 10:00 at the Aula Magna of Pavarësia University Vlorë, Green Up Albania project of Outdoor Ambassadors, Project of American Excursion, will organize a discussion with the high school graduates of Vlora: “We and the environment”.
The University of Pavaresia is proud to host an environmental discussion for high school students with esteemed panelists from the U.S. Peace Corps and Outdoor Ambassadors, a youth group focused on environmental advocacy, awareness and stewardship. Proceeding the panel discussion, will be a special preview art exhibit entitled Green Up Albania, displaying student artwork that promotes Earth Day. In the evening this exhibit will move to Artan Shabani’s Promenade Gallery where anyone is invited to attend this fundraiser event for Outdoor Ambassador students who will travel to the United States to attend an environmental school, where they will learn valuable wilderness skills and environmental advocacy methods. Friday, April 30th at 18.30 at the Aula Magna of the University Pavaresia, will be hosted the awards ceremony of the National Photography Competition, organized by the General Consulate of Italy in Vlora in collaboration with Forma-Milano (The International Center of Photography, Corriere della Sera Foundation) on the frame of the long Events Season Italy-Albania 2010 “Two Nation, One Sea, One Friendship”. The event will proceed with the opening of the exhibition with pictures of the contest participants which will remain open for the public up to Monday, 10th May (from 9:00 until 16:00).
The theme of the Contest “Harmonies, dissonances and contradictions in architecture and landscape of Albania in the new millennium. What’s the view towards future and what’s the memory from the past” has contributed not only to stimulate the creativity of some young talented Albanians, but also provided through the medium of photography a comprehension and research of the current state and most of all the sensitivity of youth to the themes of landscape and Albanian cities. It will certainly be exciting to dive into a show that might reveal surprises and suggestions. The jury will be chaired by Denis Curti director of Forma International Center of Photography in Milan that has promoted culture and photographic research internationally.
The same exhibition will be hosted in October at the sites of Forma, Milano, giving visibility to young albanian talents. Meantime, an exhibition of the Workshop held in March from 22nd to 26th, in the frame of the Master in Photography and Visual Design, which was inaugurated in Milan these last days, will land at the University Pavaresia as well.

From 13-14 November 2009, it took place near by the University of Catania the Communication Convention in the Mediterranean, focused on the efficient exploitation of the resources of the Mediterranean, on the presence of important factors in politics, economics and academics of the area. The Rector of the University Pavaresia, Prof.As.Dr Arta Musaraj discussed with Italian Europarliamentaries, Iacolino and Bianco, ex Home Affairs Ministry of Italy, and the Emeritus President of Malta at the same time former President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Guido De Marco, concerning the establishment of an academic network aiming so the support of the overcoming Mediterranean processes of the Process of Barcelona.
The president Emeritus of Malta, Guido De Marco, took care of the integration of the University Pavaresia and it’s School of Political Science through a agreement for collaboration in the Mediterranian Academy of Diplomacy.
Furthermore, in his next visit to the University Pavaresia in Vlora, he is going to talk about the Process of Barcelona and other Mediterranean processes which follow, it in the auditorium of this university.

The meeting of 26.05.2010 in Istanbul between the Rector of the University Pavaresia Prof. Arta Musaraj and Ebes officers headed by Dr. Huseyin Mehmet Bilgin, in the context of EBES 2010 Conference, May 26-28, 2010, Istanbul, Turkey marks a fundamental step on the path towards a fruitful collaboration that will be crowned with the organization of a special session of the University Pavaresia at the EBES Conference 2010 in Athens and most importantly with the organization of the EBES 2011 European Conference at the University Pavaresia Vlora, Albania.
The group of the professors of the University Pavaresia, with the participation of the Rector and all Departments Coordinators through their presentations was worthily represented at this paneuropian and Asian conference in which took part about 250 researchers and academics with an extraordinary academic level from all around the world.
Also, numerous meetings were held between representatives of different groups representing the most well-known universities in the region aimed at a deeper interaction and scientific collaboration and research in the region and further more.
