Transfers to Master Programs

 

C.U "Pavarësia" accept transfers of Master's students during the inbetween school years by other graduate domestic or foreign schools, public or non-public and allows the transfer of its students to other schools, according to some procedures and the required documentation. Students wishing to transfer from another graduate school to C.U "Pavarësia" to follow the Master's program must submit:

  • The writing request to the Dean of the respective Faculty, where he states the reasons for the transfer and the university name, from which he has requested to be transferred. The transfer request form is obtained in the secretary of Faculty;

  • Certificate from the graduate school about the courses the student has passed with the corresponding earned grades and credits ;

  • A copy of the syllabuses of all the successful passed courses in graduate school;

  • A notarized copy of the diploma of the first level studies;

  • A photocopy of the identity card;

 

Recognition of transfer credits

 

The necessary documentation for a student to transfer is forwarded to the department covering the respective major. The latter, taking in consideration also the opinion of other departments, when necessary, evaluates the subjects according to the plans and programs of Shpal "Pavaresia", performs the transfer of grades and credits  and defines the additional obligations that the students will be required to complete. The evaluation  gets forwarded to the Faculty Dean within 15 days. Based on this assessment, the Dean of the Faculty. Based on this evaluation, the Faculty Dean, within 15 days, decides on the acceptance, or rejection of the student request, and in case of admission orders the transfer.

 

C.U  (through its departments), based on the submitted documentation, performs the assessment of the subjects taken by the student, according to the plans and programs of C.U, performs the transfer of grades and credits, and determines the course and semester in which  the applicant should continue and the complementary obligations that he will have to complete.

 

The registration after the admission decision

 

C.U concludes registration agreements with the transferred students, which provides mutual obligations of the parties, as foreseen in the regulatory of the Institution.

Transfers to Bachelor Programs

 

C.U "Pavarësia" accept students' transfer during the inbetween school years by other graduate domestic or foreign schools, public or non-public and allows the transfer of its students to other schools, according to some procedures and the required documentation.  Students wishing to transfer from another higher education institution of to C.U "independence" must submit:

 

  • The writing request to the Dean of the respective Faculty, where he states the reasons for the transfer and the university name, from which he has requested to be transferred. The transfer request form is obtained in the secretary of Faculty.

  • The proof or the de-registration certificate from the previous university;

  • The proof from the previous university about the completed courses at that school, with respective grades and credits earned;

  • A copy of the completed course syllabuses at the previous university;

  • A notarized copy of high school diploma;

  • Photocopy of identity card;

  • The student who wants to discontinue his studies at C.U must withdraw the above documents against a payment of 5,000 ALL.

Regulations and Procedures for applying to pursue a Master’s Degree

With the application the candidate expresses its interest to pursue a Master's degree at SHPAL "Pavaresia" Vlorë in the study program of his choice. According to his possibilities and the expressed requirements by the applications it receives, SHPAL, plans the opening and the number of students for the Master's programs.

The application is made through the filling out of the application form:

·                  Directly, by coming at the facilities of SHPAL "Pavarësia" Vlorë;

·                  Oline, by downloading the application form and sending it to the email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.;

·                  through the postal service, by sending the application form in the official address.

 

Shpal "Independence", Vlorë sets its minimum acceptance criteria for each study program and publishes them in a suitable time. To pursue a Master's degree at SHPAL "Pavarësia",  candidates, Albanian citizens or foreigners, should:

·                  To submit a notarized copy of the diploma of the first cycle of studies, together with the original transcript;

·                  To submit a document proving that he is the holder of the diploma of the old study system;

·                  Submit the documents proving that he is the holder of another study title, equivalent to the above diplomas and recognized and equivalised by the relevant authorities;

·                  Submit the payment of annual fixed fee and/or  the total fee according to the terms and conditions of the relevant contract between the institution and the student;

·                  Fill out the application form;

·                  Submit an identification document, a photocopy of which will be kept on his folder;

·                  Submit 4 passport photos;

·                  Foreign citizens should also submit an Albania residence permit (notarized copy);

·                  Students who have completed the first cycle of studies in  SHPAL PV are not obligated to submit the above documentation.

 

Admission

Selection of candidates for the Master Study program is based on previously stored files from any candidate at the education secretary. The Scientific Committee is the authority which declares the winners names list of for this study cycle. The number of admissions is based on the real possibilities of each Faculty of SHPAL to conduct a normal education and within the standards, to ensure quality, in accordance with the applicable legal framework

 

Registration

The Registar administers the admission form, compiled by the selective Scientific Committee and registers the admitted students in the register of SHPAL "Pavarësia" with the respective ID number specified by the AKP.

Regulations and Procedures for applying to pursue a Bachelor Degree

SHPAL "Pavarësia" Vlorë sets acceptance criteria for each program of study and publishes  them in a suitable time. In establishing these criteria the Institution takes into account the applicable legal framework for the admission and registration procedure  in the study programs of the first level offered by the Private Institutions of Higher Education,as well as the transfer of studies.

To pursue a Bachelor degree at SHPAL "Pavarësia" Vlorë, the candidate, citizen, or foreigner should:

·                  Submit a high school diploma along with grading certificate or a notarized copy of the diploma, confirmed by the relevant local education unit;

·                  A candidate who has completed high school before 2011 submits a high school diploma and a document issued by the National Examination Agency certifying that has passed the elective exams;

·                  In case the candidate does not have a high school diploma, he must submit a duplicate of the maturity acknowledgement, issued by the high school Directory where he finished high school and confirmed by the Regional Educational Directory/ Education Office, or his  high school transcripts, issued by the Central State Archive.

·                  Perform the payment of the specified fee under the terms and provisions of the contract between the Institution and the student;

·                  Fill out the application form;

·                  Submit an identification document, a photocopy of which will be kept on his folder;

·                  Submit two passport photos;

 Foreign citizens should also submit:

·                  Albania residence permit (notarized copy);

·                  The document certifying the recognition of the Albanian language, acquired in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Tirana (for the cases when the student is registered in a study program that is held in Albanian language).

 

Admission

Selection of candidates for the first level of studies is based on an acceptance form and based on the submitted documentation. The number of admissions is based on the real possibilities of each Faculty of Shpal to conduct a normal education and within the standards, to ensure quality, in accordance with the applicable legal framework.

 

Registration

The Registar administers the required documentation and registers the admitted students at the registry of SHPAL "Pavarësia" with the ID number set by the AKP.
